We also hold a vision to discover new molecules by targeting on obesity, cancer, antibiotics and PUFA (eicosanoid precursors) from microbial diversity.

We built a strong team of professionals consisting of Biochemists, Microbiologists, and Chemical Engineers with expertise in the fields of fermentation and process engineering. The team over last couple of years extensive research has developed highly competitive process technologies for making insoluble dietary fibers, organic fertilizer (fish protein hydrolysate) that can be scaled to commercial manufacturing. These technologies have been validated in the pilot plant facility and are being optimized for productivity. There are more than 10 products in the pipe line that are in various stages of development.

India is the fifth largest legume produced in the world, after soya, peanut, beans and peas. India has been one of the leading producers of Bengal gram for several decades, accounting for nearly 68.13 % of the world production. Tamil Nadu is one of the largest dhal processing states with the dhal processing facility that ranges from cottage industries to state of Art and modernized manufacturing plants 10,000 to 1, 00,000 tons/anum of Bengal gram. These dhal processing industries accumulate huge quantity of Bengal gram husk. The husk of Bengal gram contains essential non glycemic, dietary cellulose, fibers. Soluble dietary fibers (SDF) and insoluble dietary fibers (ISDF) are two integral components of the total dietary fibers (TDF). For the first time Microcore Pvt Ltd has developed process and patented the technologies for the conversion of waste in to wealth to produce Insoluble dietary fibers from Bengal gram and fried Bengal gram husk. At present we are setting up pilot scale manufacturing facility for test marketing.
