Microcore Pvt Ltd is four years young research based biotech company managed by technocrats with more than a decade of experiences in Industrial Biotechnology. Our expertise has developed turnkey  and sustainable technologies to produce world best food stabilizers, modified starch, additives and emulsifiers with superior quality and functional activities. We are focused towards marketing eco-friendly solutions to wide variety of industries such as pharmaceuticals, nutraceutical, animal healthcare, food and beverages, agriculture, waste management, textile and leather.

Our research team comprises specialists in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, food chemistry, chemical engineering and biotechnology and we works in close contact with the client. Microcore foresees tremendous opportunities in India from agro processing, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. One of main area of work is on converting industrial waste in to cost-effective and value added products. In the last few years, we have developed unique technologies to convert wastes from agro-processing, egg processing and aqua processing industries into highly useful food products.

We strive towards providing innovative solutions to customer needs and are extensively involved in new process and product development. We work as a multi-disciplinary team, which involves combination of people with diverse skill base to understand and provide solutions in the enzyme and pharmaceutical markets. Our core strength lies in bio-chemical engineering, industrial fermentation, and microbiology and strain improvement. This enables us to innovate, design, and execute variety of projects.

Chandramohan Marimuthu First generation entrepreneur and founder of Microcore with more than 10  years experience in industrial research, operation and management for the production of high value microbial metabolites. Previous experience as Associate Scientific Manager at Biocon Ltd,  Bangalore,  India and expertise in echinocandin, polyketides, high value enzyme fermentations, modified starch and dietary fiber research and production. Post Graduate in Applied Microbiology  and Process Technology Presidency College University of Madras- Gold Medalist and University Topper. Consultant for several agro, food, egg and enzyme processing industries. Recipient of several award read more     Krishnamoorthy Muthusamy  Joined Microcore as  Director  in 2007, hold more than 11 years of experience in food processing and expertise in quality control and Quality assurance of food products manufacturing, formulations in India, Middle East and  Europe. Graduate in Microbiology and Post Graduate in Business Administration. Certified Lead Auditor from National Accreditation Board for Personal and Training (NRBPT) & Quality Council of India (QCI) under International Accreditation Forum (IAF) for Q.M.S. & Food Safety System (HACCP. Certified trainer for Q.M.S., & Food Safety Systems.     Dr.Sriraj Srinivasan Joined Microcore as Executive Director in 2008 and has more than 7  years experience in research and manufacturing Microbial Enzymes. Previous experience involves working as a researcher and manager with multi- biotech firms. Received his doctorol degree in  the United States of America.

Our broad spectrum of research experiences enable us to undertake every possible areas of scientific research and industrial consultancy with key focus on developing Sustainable Technologies, primarily dealing with waste to wealth, energy, environment protection and renewable resource utilization.

We also hold a vision for the future in developing energy and cost efficient solutions for the conversion of various agriculture wastes in to potentially useful food and pharmaceutical products and discovery of molecules by targeting on obesity, cancer, antibiotics and PUFA from microbial diversity.
